I teach you in a maths way

Read my old post before read this.

諾貝爾文學獎得主蕭伯納說「此時此刻在地球上,約有兩萬個人適合當你的人生伴侶,就看你先遇到哪一個…」

If that 20,000 person can be any gender and any age, let’s think about the chance to meet one of the person.

According to the International Programs Center, U.S. Bureau of the Census, the total population of the World, projected to 01/22/06 at 06:04 GMT (EST+5) is

6,492,912,256

If, 此時此刻在地球上,約有兩萬個人適合當你的人生伴侶, the percentage of matched person should be,

20,000 / 6,492,912,256 = 0.000308028188%

Assume you get married with local people, let’s take Hong Kong as an example.

Consider the population of Hong Kong is 6.9 million at 2004, the number of matched person in Hong Kong should be,

6,900,000 * 0.000308028188% = 21.253945

Remember this assumed any age and gender, if the 20000 is age and gender related, it will be totally different.
