1st day of work
“All those snack, soft drink, photo chip x x. x.. xx are FREE. Just take it and admin will refill it each month.”
“We will prepare coffee everyday. Take a cup if you like it.”
“Just place the cup there, will be washed everyday.”
“We will buy magazine a, b, c, d, x, y, z. Let me know if any book you think that is useful.”
“We expect you have roughly 30% free time. To do any research you think that is helpful in your field. You can say staying for hours in PageOne every afternoon, if you think it helps.”
“I like to find somebody to help and you can pass those routine tasks to him. Please let me know what kind of people will helps and I prepare the job ad.”

Feel pressure. Not kidding. This time really afraid I will be the bottleneck.

Some findings today.
1. It is worth to buy the iMac 24 inch. The 20 inch model is quite small.
2. It will be great if able to watch firework in that 180+ sea view office.
3. In probation has no chinese year bouns (quite normal). I hope I can stay until the salary revise.
4. Never! Never! Never wake up so early. So sleepy…
